THIS IS A MATERNITY COVER ROLE UNTIL JUNE 2027

Summary

This is a maternity cover position providing comprehensive legal support with a focus on Swiss employment and commercial law. The Legal Counsel will advise on regulatory matters, employment agreements, corporate governance, and commercial contracts, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk to support the company’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and redlining employment agreements, ensuring compliance with Swiss employment law requirements.
  • Drafting and reviewing commercial and corporate agreements.
  • Advising on Swiss employment law matters including termination management, social services compliance, and CB audits.
  • Assisting with the review and negotiation of client and vendor agreements, and supporting internal compliance efforts.
  • Supporting the implementation of a new employee onboarding process within Switzerland.

Qualifications

  • Law degree from an accredited institution and admission to the Swiss bar or equivalent qualification to practise law in Switzerland.
  • Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience (PQE), with significant experience in Swiss employment and commercial law.
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss employment law, commercial law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and commercial transactions.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to balance legal risks with business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in a global or multi-jurisdictional environment is a plus.
  • High ethical standards and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information.

  • Our salary range reflects gross base salary. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission.

  • Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location.
