For our Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics department, we are looking for a Supply Chain Assistant to support day-to-day supply chain and logistics operations, from purchase orders to shipment, delivery and receipt.
As Nextkidney prepares for the next stages of product development and commercialization, you will play a key role in ensuring that equipment and materials reach clinics and other partners on time for upcoming clinical activities.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, well organized and comfortable coordinating orders, shipments and operational documentation in an international environment. You will work closely with our Global Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist and progressively take ownership of operational supply chain activities.
As this is an operational role supporting our local team and logistics activities, regular on-site presence in Lausanne is required. The position is offered at 60–80%, typically corresponding to 3–4 working days per week.
SUPPLY CHAIN ASSISTANT AT 60–80%
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including shipments, transport documentation and delivery tracking.
- Coordinate shipments of equipment and materials to clinics and other partners in Switzerland and internationally.
- Create and manage purchase orders in SAGE X3 (ERP) and follow up on confirmations, delivery dates, quantities, receipts and open orders.
- Maintain accurate purchase order, shipment and delivery information in SAGE X3 and operational trackers.
- Support goods receipt, inventory administration, stock movements and reconciliation activities.
- Prepare and maintain operational and traceability documentation related to orders, shipments and deliveries.
- Monitor orders and shipments, identify potential delays or discrepancies and escalate issues when appropriate.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and standardization of supply chain and logistics processes.
Profile
- Commercial, technical or vocational qualification. Further education in Supply Chain, Logistics or Procurement is a plus.
- Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience in logistics, supply chain, purchasing or industrial operations.
- Hands-on experience using an ERP system for purchase orders, inventory or logistics transactions is required. Experience with SAGE X3 is a plus.
- French and English at minimum B2 level are required.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Hands-on, reliable and proactive, with good communication and follow-up skills.
- Experience in MedTech, pharmaceutical, biotech, manufacturing or another regulated environment is a plus.
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively, with a strong willingness to learn.
- Regular on-site presence in Lausanne is required.
