Our Direct Materials (DIM) Procurement team is searching for a Category Leader to take ownership of the Cans & Lids Packaging category.

You will define roadmaps while ensuring regional and global execution, bridging the gap between strategic management and operational execution through daily interactions with colleagues and global vendors while overseeing contract and capacity management in this broad and highly impactful role!

Impact You’ll Own

Ensure flawless deployment of category strategies and deliver operational excellence across supplier management, contract execution, productivity, and NPI support.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies by applying your technical expertise on thermoplastic resins, injection moulding, and tooling categories.
  • Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management to deliver quality, cost, and service excellence.
  • Build strategic supplier partnerships and drive value engineering, should-costing, and productivity initiatives.
  • Ensure material quality, regulatory compliance, and supply continuity across the category.
  • Optimise manufacturing and supply chain performance through process improvement and innovation.
  • Manage contracts, pricing, tooling investments, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and develop procurement capability across stakeholders and teams..
  • Champion process standardisation, continuous improvement, and procurement excellence across the region.

Skills & Capabilities

  • 8+ years' experience in Procurement or related supply chain functions.
  • Expertise in injection moulding, resin sourcing, tooling, and FMCG manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of global supply markets, suppliers, and cost drivers.
  • Experience managing high-volume sourcing programmes and supplier performance.
  • Knowledge of polymers, moulding technologies, and should-cost analysis.
