Mission
We’re looking for a hands‑on Senior Consultant to support an electronic content management (ECM) migration between two banking information systems.
Our mission is to deliver a secure, timely, and compliant migration by assessing counterparty data, aligning data semantics, and operating robust integration processes.
As a consultant you’ll design and run migration workflows, coordinate with business and technical teams from both organizations, and ensure high‑quality outcomes—with a pragmatic, production‑focused approach.
Experience using AI as a productivity tool is a plus.
- Main responsibilities
- Assist Business and IT ECM teams to plan and execute the migration of content and metadata from one bank’s information system to the target bank’s system.
- Organize and lead data mapping workshops with business units; capture requirements and align data semantics across both banks.
- Conduct system assessments using input from domain business lines to evaluate counterparty data, identify integration challenges, and propose remediation strategies.
- Design, implement, and operate ETL processes and migration pipelines to move content and metadata into target ECM systems in a timely manner; leverage FME Migration Tool where applicable.
- Execute migration tasks hands‑on, coordinating cutover and post‑migration stabilization activities.
- Emphasize maintainability (modular, well‑structured migration components), observability (structured logging, metrics, traceability), and operability (standardized error handling and troubleshooting runbooks) across the migration lifecycle.
- Ensure data quality and compliance through reconciliation checks, consistency validations, and regulatory controls; resolve discrepancies with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align integration goals and manage expectations across business and IT.
- Document data mappings, functional and technical specifications, runbooks, and operational procedures to enable IT‑business alignment and knowledge transfer.
- Ramp up quickly on both organizations’ systems and processes; contribute to cross‑team collaboration.

- Strong ETL design and implementation skills for content and metadata migrations; experience with reconciliation, rollback strategies, and performance considerations.

- Proficient in Java development (e. g., Eclipse) and familiar with Dev Ops principles for packaging, deployment, and CI integration.
- Understanding of Documentum security models (user roles, ACLs, access controls) and compliance requirements related to content management.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills; ability to translate business needs into precise data mappings and technical specifications.
- Fluent in English; fast learner able to integrate quickly with both companies’ business and technical teams.
- Ability to leverage AI tools as a productivity aid for documentation and specification tasks.
- Nice to Have
- Experience using AI to streamline migration documentation, mapping proposals, and quality checks.
- Integration experience between ECM and enterprise systems (e. g., APIs, messaging, downstream archives/records).
- Familiarity with data governance and regulatory frameworks for content retention and privacy (e. g., GDPR, records retention).
- Performance tuning and batch window planning for large‑scale migrations.
- Knowledge of additional ECM migration utilities/tools.
- Mindset & Soft Skills
- Ownership mentality with a bias for clean, pragmatic solutions and timely delivery.
- Strong problem‑solving skills; methodical approach to debugging integration and data quality issues.
